Senior Business Analyst (Alternative Advisors Division)

Our client, a leading global multinational information technology services and consulting company,is recruiting for a Senior Business Analyst to join their business in Switzerland.

Job Description:

Sr. BA – Alternative Advisors Division 

Experience required

• Mandatory practical experience in Finance, and Private Assets as business analyst, business engineer or requirements engineer

• Advanced capabilities in SQL, XLS (DBT and Python are a plus)

• Collaborative mindset - Have proven experience where his/her ability to foster collaboration has made a strong difference

• Relevant practical experience working with agile framework

• Experience of SaaS business solution integration is a plus, in particular in Alternative Investment

• Experience with eFront is a plus

• Rigorous and analytical mindset

• Passion for continuous improvements. Not satisfied with the status quo and always thinking of ways to improve

• An intuitive eye for customer needs beyond the obvious

• Excellent attention to details

• Very good communicator

• Resistance to pressure and changing environment

• Fluent in English and French 

Responsibilities

• Your mission will be to act as a talented Business Analyst in our team dedicated to the business line Alternative Advisors, for which we develop and maintain custom -made applications and integrate COTS packages. 

• Today, our applications run on premises, but we have started our journey to the public cloud. In that future environment, we are building new data pipelines using modern cloud -native technologies and leveraging SaaS business solutions.

Your responsibilities

• Functional and technical support of agile IT initiatives in the Alternative Asset management environment throughout the entire life cycle

• Specifying requirements as a business analyst using requirements engineering & modeling techniques, business cases

• Developing solutions with internal and external stakeholders

• Actively contribute to internal topics and implement your own ideas - thereby driving your own professional, methodological, and personal development and that of your environment

• Defining business test cases to help data engineer to validate functional features or prepare data quality assessment accordingly

• Analyze various business data sources to feed the IT systems supporting client Alternative Advisors
