VF Corporation is looking for an exceptional Senior Business Intelligence Analyst (cover maternity contract) to join our Business Intelligence EMEA team based in Stabio, Switzerland .

Let’s talk about the role!

As a Senior BI Analyst you will participate to the design and deploy of key strategic BI Solutions, will support VF business users in their day-by-day activities to ensure the products adoption, and will contribute to the verification and continuous improvement of reporting data quality. The direct exposition to the end-user community is key in this role as well as an advanced capability in conceptualising and testing the solutions from source system ‘till BI solutions.

We expect that you will deliver unbeatable results whilst fulfilling the following aspects of the role:

• Budget and plan responsibility while executing
• Collection and understanding of Business Requirements
• Conversion of Business Requirements into Logical Datamodels and high level Technical Requirements
• Sharing with technical team the information gathered and checking the implementation periodically
• Leading knowledge exchange / best practice sharing with BI Endusers Community
• Data cross-checks and consistency verification between Source Systems and BI Solution according to specific business processes and support to UAT
• Implement reports and dashboards as a SuperUser where needed

Skills for Success

To succeed as Senior BI Analyst, you must translate our business objectives in a coherent BI design, follow-up the implementation team and double-check the final deliverables. Strong empathy and influencing skills will help you getting both the business and the technical team on board. We are looking for someone with a very service-oriented approach with:

• Attitude at working in team with the rest of Analytics and Reporting Team, to support colleagues in issues resolution and speed up own learning curve
• General understanding of the main business processes (one or more of the following: Sales in direct to consumers and/or wholesale, Warehousing, Purchasing, Customer Service, Finance & Controlling)
• Experience at converting Business Requirements into Logical Datamodeling (consultancy experience is a plus)
• Experience in Apparel/Fashion industry, Direct To Consumer and Wholesale channel processes
• General understanding of Business Intelligence / Data-Warehouse applications
• Hands on SAP Data investigations: knowledge of the main SAP back-end tables and their interaction
• Hands on Visual Insight platforms (Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, IBM Cognos preferred)
• Hands on relational data access (SAP HANA, SQL Server, Redshift…)
