Job Description - (Senior) IT Operations Engineer (f/m/x)

IONITY is a joint venture by leading automotive manufacturers committed to building a high-power charging network for electric vehicles (EVs) across Europe. We're a dynamic team working to revolutionize transportation and combat climate change.

We're seeking a skilled Senior IT Operations Engineer (f/m/x) to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of our IT systems for managing EV charging stations.

Your Responsibilities

Ensure the operation and maintenance of the IONITY IT charging station management front-end and back-end systems.
Maintain system availability in accordance with agreed SLAs.
Analyze, process, and manage 2nd level incidents.
Moderate and communicate with stakeholders during critical incidents.
Manage 2nd level problems with a focus on permanent resolution.
Oversee third-party providers.
Implement and manage IT changes.
Collaborate with IT architects, software developers, and system engineers to continuously improve the application and system landscape.
Monitor and enhance the system landscape and monitoring technologies.
Support the onboarding of B2B customers to IONITY's IT backend systems.
Conduct deep analysis of system issues and performance.
Participate in the rolling "Manager on Duty / On Call" concept.

Experience in the e-mobility environment is advantageous.
Proficient in written and spoken English.
Experience with IT service management systems (e.g., Jira).
Familiarity with cloud systems (e.g., AWS).
In-depth knowledge of incident and problem management according to the ITIL framework.
Strong database experience, including writing and executing complex queries.
Experience in automating recurring tasks.
Excellent communication skills with a solution-oriented approach.
Demonstrates responsibility and ownership.
