About the Opportunity

We're looking to connect with experienced Linux Engineers interested in joining a modern Platform Engineering environment in Zurich.

Rather than focusing purely on traditional systems administration, this position sits across Linux, automation, virtualisation and cloud infrastructure. You'll help build and improve the underlying platforms used by engineering teams while having scope to broaden your expertise across private cloud technologies.

It's particularly well suited to somebody who enjoys Linux at scale and wants their next position to be increasingly focused on automation and cloud engineering.

Main Responsibilities

• Engineer and maintain enterprise Linux platforms.


• Automate infrastructure and operational processes.


• Build reusable Infrastructure as Code.


• Support virtualised and cloud environments.


• Improve availability, security and performance.


• Troubleshoot complex platform issues.


• Support infrastructure modernisation projects.


• Work alongside Cloud, Network and Security teams.

Your Profile

We're interested in Senior Linux Engineers with experience across modern infrastructure technologies.

Ideally, you'll bring:

• Strong Linux engineering experience.


• Red Hat, Ubuntu, SUSE or comparable expertise.


• Ansible, Terraform and/or OpenTofu knowledge.


• Experience with VMware, KVM or cloud virtualisation.


• Exposure to OpenStack is highly advantageous.


• Kubernetes or container experience is beneficial.


• Good networking and storage fundamentals.


• Bash, Python or similar scripting experience.


• Professioanl German and English.
