Job Description

We are looking for a meticulous and proactive QA Engineer to elevate product quality across our platform. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on creating robust testing strategies, collaborating closely with engineers and product managers, and building quality-first processes. You’ll take ownership of manual and automated testing across all platforms—web, desktop, Android, and iOS—driving confidence in every release through well-defined metrics, automation, and strategic planning.

Responsibilities:

• Lead manual testing across web, desktop, Android and iOS apps.
• Plan and execute exploratory / regression tests across all Alohi products.
• Write and maintain clear test plans, test cases and check-lists.
• Design, prioritise and implement automation scripts for smoke & regression suites (e.g. Playwright, XCTest).
• Own defect lifecycle: discovery, tracking, triage, verification and reporting.
• Champion QA best practices in CI/CD pipelines; maintain test data and environments.
• Define and monitor QA KPIs (pass-rate, escaped defects, mean-time-to-fix).
• Facilitate release readiness reviews with PMs & Engineering Leads.
• Continuously improve tools & processes; evaluate buy-vs-build test solutions.
  

• Minimum 3 years professional QA experience in a product-focused tech company.
• Proven manual testing on web, desktop, Android and iOS platforms.
• Hands-on exposure to automation frameworks and basic scripting (JS/Python/Bash).
• Solid grasp of QA methodologies (black-box, white-box, regression, performance, security).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum squads; comfortable using Jira, Testim, Confluence.
• Excellent written & verbal communication; able to impact engineers and PMs.
