THE ROLE Wir suchen eine:n Sous Chef für unser Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich Team! Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich is located in the heart of the Old Town, in the main business center, close to the city's leisure attractions and just a short walk from the shores of Lake Zurich. The Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich has 80 guest rooms and suites and three dining venues, including an all-day dining restaurant, a specialty restaurant and a lobby lounge. The hotel is ideal for meetings and events with its newly renovated event facilities, including a grand historic ballroom. As Sous Chef you will be responsible for the following tasks: Working under the guidance of the Executive Sous Chef, be able to organize the team and workflow to execute the menu dishes according to the recipes and user guides in a high volume atmosphere for our guests. Lead and drive the team to maintain the highest level of productivity and efficiency in overall food preparation in the F&B outlets plus in-room dining. Be able to project and procure the adequate amount of products and prepare in timely manner. Demonstrate the ultimate level of food safety, understanding HACCP principles, possess the highest personal hygiene. As Sous Chef, we expect from you: Globally-recognized culinary qualification.
