We're looking for a Sr Scientist Oral Innovation in Neuchatel to advance oral product innovation through formulation and material solutions for precise ingredient delivery. You will integrate formulation, materials, and delivery science to create differentiated consumer experiences and optimize ingredient performance.

Impact You'll Own

You will contribute to next-generation oral product technologies by:

Advancing spatial and temporal control of ingredient delivery

Optimizing product performance throughout use

Enhancing robustness, consistency, and stability

Developing innovative, protectable technology platforms.

What You'll Do

Design innovative formulation and material solutions for oral applications

Engineer spatial and temporal ingredient delivery to achieve targeted performance

Evaluate novel materials, formulations, and delivery technologies from concept to proof of feasibility

Collaborate with internal and external partners to advance technology platforms and intellectual property.

Skills & Experience

PhD or MSc in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Colloid & Interface Science, Polymer Science, Food Engineering, Physical Chemistry, or a related field

Hands-on experience in controlled release, drug delivery, oral delivery systems, pharmaceutical formulations, consumer health, functional foods, or advanced materials

Ability to translate scientific concepts into prototypes, patentable innovations, product claims, and scalable technology platforms

Understanding of material architecture, active localization, moisture management, and release profile optimization

Strong experimental mindset with experience designing hypotheses and proof-of-feasibility studies

Ability to bridge early-stage innovation and product development

Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex scientific concepts to diverse stakeholders.
