Inter IKEA is seeking a highly analytical, detail-oriented, collaborative, and strategic Supply Chain Network Designer to join our Supply Chain design team. Help us shape the backbone of our Supplier, distribution and fulfillment network and play a crucial role in ensuring our products reach customers seamlessly with a sustainable & continuously low cost.
Job Description
- Design and develop optimised supply chain network capacities based on business requirements and customer needs.
- Conduct comprehensive analyses of current supplier, logistics operations, transportation, warehouse, and inventory practices.
- Utilise advanced modeling techniques, data and software to simulate supply chain scenarios and propose improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, finance, operations, and sales to align network design with overall business strategy.
- Prepare and present business cases for decisions of network design changes, including sustainability, cost-benefit analysis and risk assessment.
- Support & collaborate with knowledge to continuously upgrade based on the latest supply chain trends, technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or a related field.
- Proven experience in supply chain network design, logistics, or operations management.
- Proficiency in supply chain modeling software (e.g., Supply Chain Guru, AnyLogic, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Working practices in data management & structuring using advanced Excel, SQL, Tableau etc.
- Knowledge of regulatory and industry-specific supply chain and logistics requirements.
