Job Description - Support Engineer

AnswerModules is looking for a dedicated Support Engineer to join our team and help our clients succeed by providing outstanding technical support to our clients. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, assisting them in resolving issues and providing guidance on using our solutions effectively.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to customer inquiries via multiple channels, including email, phone, and chat
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to our software products
  • Documenting support cases and solutions in our ticketing system to create a knowledge base for future reference
  • Collaborating closely with product and development teams to escalate and address complex issues
  • Providing training and guidance to customers on product features and best practices
  • Identifying opportunities to improve our support processes and enhance customer satisfaction
  • Basic programming in Java and Groovy.
  • Basic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript knowledge.
  • Familiarity with RDBMS (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MS SQL) and ability to write simple SQL queries.
  • Basic understanding of XML and Apache Tomcat.
  • Understanding of local networks and network protocols.
  • Administration skills on Windows and UNIX operating systems.
  • Experience or familiarity with OpenText Content Server and ECM solutions is a plus
  • Experience with ECM/ERP products such as Microsoft SharePoint, IBM FileNet, SAP, Oracle E-Business Suite is a plus
  • 1+ years of experience in the IT industry, preferably in ECM-focused roles.
  • Strong verbal and written communication in English.
  • Analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field preferred.
  • Experience in technical consultancy roles is a plus.
