Job Description - System Architect (w/m/d)

Overview: Design system solutions to solve complex E/E problems in the automotive industry
Lead and support internal and customer teams during different project stages (RFQ to SoP)
Develop innovative solutions to solve problems working with future automotive technologies, especially new E/E architectures
Design systems considering reusability, scalability, a platform mindset, etc.
Work with the different system and software architects to strengthen the integration between the different system parts, and to define proper interfaces and efficient dataflow

Problem solving as a core skill
Substantial practical experience debugging system messages
Demonstrated practical experience in designing system architecture and modeling using typical tools (sysML, Simulink, MBSE, etc.)
Experience working in the automotive industry (any of)
- Experience with automotive requirements break-down
- Experience in any of the E/E domains (ADAS, IVI, Body, VCU, Telematics, etc.)
- Knowledge of various automotive network architectures (LIN, CAN, UART, Ethernet, I2C, I2S, IPC interfaces, etc.)
- Experience with automotive diagnostics (DoIP, ODX/OTX, UDS, etc.)
- Knowledge of automotive SoC/System architectures
- Knowledge of evolving automotive E/E architectures including domain and zonal controllers
- Understanding of automotive software stacks, middle-ware and applications
- Exposure to automotive standards such as ASPICE and Road vehicles – Functional safety (ideally up to ASIL D)
- Exposure to AUTOSAR or Adaptive AUTOSAR
Exceptional communication skills especially when articulating or illustrating thoughts
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills; German is a plus
