TCH Pediatric Surgery (Assistant Professor)

Summary

This unique faculty position offers an exceptional opportunity to join the Division of Pediatric Surgery at Texas Children's Hospital as a Pediatric General Surgeon while serving as a member of the multidisciplinary Texas Children's Fetal Center. The position will provide comprehensive pediatric surgical services in both the inpatient and outpatient settings at the Texas Medical Center campus while supporting the continued growth and innovation of the Fetal Center.

This position is structured as a 50% clinical and 50% research appointment, allowing the faculty member to develop an internationally recognized research program focused on advancing fetal therapy and fetal surgery. Protected research time will support translational and clinical investigation, collaboration across Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children's Hospital, development of externally funded research, and mentorship of trainees while integrating scientific discovery into clinical care.
