Could you be the full-time Technical Engineer (f/m/d) in Zurich we’re looking for?   


 


 


Your Future Role 


140 years of Swiss railway history meet modern solutions for green mobility in Zurich. With 300 colleagues, our Zurich site servs as a global competence center for high-performance traction technology and a development hub for locomotives, bogies, mechanical and electrical systems, as well as services for the local and global markets. Our product line Services offers a complete range of solutions to maximise the value of customer assets. Our offerings cover the entire lifecycle of the asset, from design and build, to operation, to end of life.  


The purpose of this job is to support customer Service and Procurement team, ensuring that technical support is delivered on time to reach our business requirement. This is a key support function for our services activity


 


 


We’ll look for you to: 



  • Provide technical documentation (drawings, parts lists, test specifications) to our customers and/or suppliers

  • Provide engineering advise to our customer service and procurement team

  • Support our engineering team on change or update of technical documentation 

  • Liaise with suppliers, contractors and specialist engineers as necessary to resolve technical problems

  • Create new part number if required in our technical data base call PDM

  • Transfer parts from PDM to our ERP system to be used by our customer service team

  • Ensure that a library of controlled documentation is maintained

  • Support our quality department providing technical documentation

  • Carry out technical investigations and where necessary produce relevant reports

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

  • 2–4 years of professional experience in an engineering role

  • Strong attention to detail and a rigorous approach to work

  • Collaborative mindset and strong team spirit

  • Open‑minded with a willingness to learn and adapt

  • Experience working with ERP systems, ideally SAP

  • Fluent in German and English

  • Willingness to travel
