YOUR PROFILE
As the Theatre Technician, you will be at the heart of our dynamic Arts programme, providing essential technical and stage management support for all performance spaces.
This is a 50 % part-time role where you will be responsible for the setup and operation of lighting, sound, and multimedia equipment during productions, as well as overseeing the Beau Soleil student tech team. Additionally, you will manage stage setups, including sourcing and creating props, and ensure the smooth running and maintenance of all performance spaces and its equipment.
Your role will also involve training the student tech team on a weekly basis during term time, maintaining high standards of Health and Safety for theatre equipment, and being available to work occasional evenings and weekends as required. This position requires a balance of technical and creative skills, excellent communication and organisational abilities, and a passion for working with young people in an educational setting.
