Job Description - Trade Finance Specialist, 100%

Your tasks:

Responsible for supporting all Trade Finance activities for designated commodities
Present new transactions and follow up on transactional financing matters with financing banks
Approve issuing and/or confirming banks, review and process of Export Documentary Letters of Credits (Doc LC’s), Standby Letters of Credit (SBLC’s) and Bank Guarantees (Gtees)
Issue, amend and pay of Import Doc LCs, SBLCs & Gtees
Check and approve of LC presentations and claims under Export & Import Doc LC’s, SBLC’s & Gtees
Negotiate and approve fees with financing banks
Update of all trade finance information in the database

At least 2 years experience in the Trade Finance Specialist function with a global trading company and/ or in the banking industry, solid understanding of transactional financing
Good technical and practical knowledge of UCP 600/ISP 98/URC 522 and Incoterms
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines ad adapt to change market conditions respectively think ‘outside of the box’
Understanding of bank’s facility letters
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Ability to work within a multi-cultural environment
Work in a team environment and yet take responsibility for assigned tasks
Fluent in English – written and spoken, additional languages would be an advantage
Strong Excel skills would be an advantage
