Veterinary Cardiologist (Dipl. ACVIM/ECVIM-CA – Cardiology) (f/m/d)

Are you an enthusiastic, board-certified veterinary cardiologist looking to join a dynamic, well-equipped and highly collaborative team? Join us in the heart of the Swiss Alps at our growing referral and specialty clinic in beautiful Thun, where quality of life meets cutting-edge veterinary medicine. We are seeking a cardiologist to lead and further develop our cardiology service.
 

Your tasks:

• Diagnosis and treatment of cardiologic cases (inpatients and outpatients)
• Performing advanced diagnostics (echocardiography, ECG, etc.)
• Client communication and case management
• Collaboration with internal medicine, surgery, and emergency departments
• Mentorship of interns and junior veterinarians
• Building a good relationship with our referring veterinarians, sharing knowledge, and connecting by phone and email in order to develop the cardiology referral service.
• Advice and support for patient owners and referral veterinarians
• Participation in the further training of colleagues and the expansion of the neurology department

• Completed studies in veterinary medicine and Diplomate of ACVIM (Cardiology) or ECVIM-CA (Cardiology), or board-eligible

• Fluent in English or German (willingness to learn German is a plus)
