Portfolio Manager Vontobel SFA

Are you top notch at portfolio management? You know how to implement allocation and selection decision within customer portfolios? Do you know how to make investment decisions that benefit our clients? Do you know how to explain solutions and portfolios to clients and relationship managers?
For our legal entity Vontobel Swiss Financial Advisers (Vontobel SFA), a US licensed Registered Investment Adviser (RIA), we are looking for a Portfolio Manager who will join our team.

What would your role be?

• Work in a small discretionary managed solutions team with multi-jurisdictional clients.
• Responsible for a wide variety of portfolio management functions.
• Responsibility for implementation relative return multi asset allocation portfolios.
• Regular contact with SFA Relationship Manager and Clients to support reporting/proposals and promote discretionary mandate material in general.
• Responsibility for discretionary security selection (based on third party research) that are implemented in customer portfolios.

What are we looking for?

• An undergraduate or graduate degree in business, finance or economics / AZEK or CFA charter as a plus.
• Experienced (5 years+) in implementation of private or institutional segregated client portfolios.
• Experience in security selection (various asset classes).
• Experience in MS Office (Excel macro) and Python programming to support tasks.
• Experience in product sales and client portfolio management activities.
• Communication skills, both written and oral in English & German.
• A team player and a concise and accurate worker.
• keen to take the initiative with solution-oriented thinking that facilitates business decisions.
