Position Summary

This position is responsible for the supplier interface across the program life cycle and all external developments. You will have to take a quantitative approach to risk management, monitoring and reporting financial performance and manage suppliers in the execution phase of build to print, development and entire sub-systems in regards of all SCM aspects.

Main Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage project related activities to ensure materials and services meet project requirements
• Sets and leads commutation channels to ensure on time exchange of information to and from Suppliers
• Monitoring supplier productivity, quality, and schedule adherence for external product developments and long lead time items
• Host project related supplier visits
• SCM single point of contact for the project (Project Core Team member)
• Controlling and Reporting of project material budget to meet financial objectives by forecasting requirements and analyzing variances
• Submitting project status to stakeholders, reviewing and anticipate potential risks and mitigation strategies
• Reviews purchase order claims and contracts and discusses defects and delivery problems with suppliers and negotiates refunds

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor-s degree in business administration, Procurement or Engineering, or similar from an accredited university or business school
• 2-5 years of relevant work experience
• Good understanding of business aviation environment
• Solid knowledge of processes, procedures and concepts in functional area
