Tasks

In this leadership role, you will be responsible for guiding the team in providing 2nd level support to the B2B Service Providers and Sales organization across Europe, Middle East and Africa.

You will play a critical role in the development, implementation and optimization of global processes.

  • Disciplinary and functional joint-leadership of the GSCC Campus Central team in Basel, Switzerland
  • Create personalized development plans tailored to each team member’s strength, areas for improvement and career goals
  • Guide the team in the development, implementation and continuous optimization of the Lufthansa Group's B2B Sales Servicing processes
  • Together with the team, provide operational support to the Service Providers, identify structural process deficiencies and work with the interfaces to find sustainable solutions
  • Serve as the escalation contact for internal stakeholders in case of qualitative issues
  • Initiate and lead working groups on overarching pain points, with interdisciplinary collaboration

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education
  • Professional experience in the aviation, service or hospitality industry, ideally in a leadership role
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to lead a diverse team
  • Commitment to a positive and inclusive work environment, developing and mentoring team members, nurturing talents within the team
  • Highly motivated, proactive, self-driven and inspirational to others
  • Ability to independently lead key topics, make sound decisions under pressure and seek support when necessary
  • Willingness to collaborate, adaptability to change and proven strategic thinking
  • Customer-oriented thinking and the ability to approach problems from unconventional angles
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken. German would be advantageous
