Job Description - HSSE Engineer

Your mission at Climeworks is to implement HSSE best practices to develop safety as a value in the behavior of all Climeworkers.
You develop, implement, and sustain critical safety policies and procedures in Climeworks’ corporate, production, and testing facilities.
You establish a safety-first mentality in Climeworks, with safety lived as a value, not just a priority.
You lead incident investigations and drive actions to closure.
You support design reviews for new equipment and facilities.
You develop safety design principles for CCs and plants.
You support construction safety at-site for both Climeworkers and contractors.
You establish safety best practices in chemical handling and lab.
You deliver training to roll out new procedures and maintain existing ones.

You hold a bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety or a related field.
You possess 5 years of industry work experience.
You specialize in corporate workplace safety, and you excel in construction safety.
You have expertise in production safety, and you prioritize health & well-being.
You value teamwork and emphasize clear communication.
You are proficient in English.
You are willing to travel up to 50%.
