Job Description - Manager, Spatial Design

Summary

Collaborate closely with the Director Brand Experience to conceptualize and visualize ideas, create designs for spatial experiences and 3D branded objects. This role creates the blueprint for later localizations for the brand experience in 3D.

Collaborate closely with the Director Brand Experience to conceptualize and visualize ideas, create designs for spatial experiences and 3D branded objects. This role creates the blueprint for later localizations for the brand experience in 3D.

Location: Basel, Switzerland

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualizing, sketching and creating 3D designs for spatial branding
  • Develop ideas for scenographic design for a multitude of audiences and spaces
  • Creation of high-quality designs and guidelines to be shared with local CA and REFS teams and agencies
  • Translate Pavillon content into creative assets that can be shared with all sites (from Basel to the world)
  • Own brand lab space for digital assets for Brand Experience
  • Collaborate very closely with the creative services team and the congresses and events team to maximize crosspollination
  • Attention to detail and quality-control including overseeing local implementation
  • Ruthless periodisation of projects for highest impact

Role requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Spatial Design, Architecture, Interior Design, Scenography
  • Good experience with Spatial Design
  • Excellent design skills
  • Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software
  • Proficiency in 3D modelling, rendering, and visualization tools
  • Great communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Languages: English, excellent in writing and speaking, any additional language is a plus
