To support our Finance & Accounting team we are looking for an experienced and motivated

Senior Accountant DE/EN 100%

Tasks

• Book and reconcile accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Generate invoices for accounts receivable
• Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial statements following Swiss Code of Obligations guidelines along with various tasks like analysis and statistical evaluation
• Periodical declaration of VAT calculation of tax provision and preparation of tax return
• Assist in preparation of annual financial statements based on IFRS standards
• Help with yearend tasks and support in audit preparations
• Prepare financial reports
• Handle daily accounting tasks

Requirements

• Swiss Federal Diploma in finance and accounting or an equivalent degree
• Several years of professional experience in a similar position preferably in an international working environment
• Fluent in English & German
• Proficiency in accounting software (Infoniqa) and MS Office (proficient in Excel)
• Familiarity with GAAP and regulatory requirements and with IFRS experience being highly beneficial
• Strong attention to detail analytical and able to work on multiple assignments
• Professional discreet and reliable
