Your Mission - Work within the team lead to transform customs operations by focusing on the automation of key processes.
- Assist in the development and implementation of a tariff classification tool to ensure accurate and efficient product classification.
- Contribute to the automation of preferential trade agreement management, helping to maximize duty savings and compliance with trade regulations.
- Support the creation and management of a manufacturer/origin management tool to streamline the tracking and verification of product origins.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to identify and resolve issues related to the new customs tools, ensuring smooth integration and operation.
- Engage in data analysis and reporting to monitor the performance of the automated tools and identify opportunities for further optimization and improvement. Your Story - Current enrolment in or recent graduation from a relevant degree program in international law, international economics, supply chain management, international trade, customs or a related field.
- Passion for transforming customs operations through innovative tech solutions.
- Solid understanding of tariff classification, preferential trade agreements, and manufacturer/origin management.
- Strong analytical skills with a knack for data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders to solve complex issues.
- Proficiency in automation tools and software for streamlining customs processes.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, in English.
