R&D INTERNSHIP SOFTWARE

We are looking for

A curious, methodic and organized person, with an “out-of-the-box” thinking framed by a logical and rigorous mindset. Team player with a high level of autonomy and good communication skills.

We offer you

• The possibility to investigate several fields of computer science from IT tasks to implementation with mutexes and atomics.
• A first experience with modern tools used in every company (Atlassian suite: Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket), Jenkins, GIT, Microsoft Visual Studio.

Your Mission

ETEL deliver various types of Software to our customers, from standalone applications written in Java or C#/ WPF to API libraries to be compiled with our customers’ source code under Windows, RTX, Linux, FreeRTOS and other operating systems. These libraries are tested by a proprietary validation tool.

Contribute to the development, continuous improvement of software products developed by ETEL by:

• Installing Linux Ubuntu 22 for our validation tool.
• Installing backup of various disks used by our validation tool.
• Configuring an automatic start of Linux, Windows and RTX operating systems.
• Installing a Jenkins client to ensure an automatic launch of the validation procedure.
• Ensuring the compilation of our software under Linux Ubuntu 22.
• Generating of Doxygen documentation into a single file.
• Using clang-tidy to update our libraries.
• Using sanitizers (use of CLANG instead of Visual Studio 2019).
• Studying the use of mutexes and atomics on Windows and Linux to replace semaphores.

Your Profile

• Bachelor or Master student in software engineering or electronics engineering field.
• Programming skills in C# / WPF.
• Programming skills in C/C .
• Skills in Windows, Linux Ubuntu.
• Fluent in French, English is a plus.
