Odne (formerly Lumendo), founded in 2018 and spun out of ETH Zürich and EPFL Lausanne, is on a mission to revolutionize endodontic treatments in the US and EU. Our advanced cleaning technology and light-activated filler help patients keep their natural teeth longer.

Position Overview

We are looking for a curious and independent to enrich our team and support our product development efforts for 6 - 12 months. You will work on improving our products, running lab tests, and contributing to regulatory documentation. This is a unique opportunity to gain practical engineering, prototyping, and regulatory experience while helping expand the reach of a life-changing product.

Tasks

• Support all aspects of the product development process, from formulation optimization (X-ray, CBCT, IR analysis, viscosity testing) to market approval and manufacturing
• Conduct material stability and shelf-life testing by spectroscopic and photopolymerization analysis
• Develp and execute benchtop and perfromance test
• Improve product designs based on market feedback
• Generate experimental data for marketing purposes
• Keep detailed documentation and write clear, concise technical reports, for use in our regulatory files

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in science or engineering (e.g. material science, life-science)
• Experience in lab work, with the ability to work independently, efficiently, and safely
• Interest in biomaterials and medical devices
• Experience in prototyping and building test setups
• High motivation and a strong sense of responsibility, with an independent and well-organized working style
• Outgoing and hands-on personality, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Available full-time for 6–12 months.
