At SCB, we’re looking for ambitious team members with a passion for the environmental and sustainability markets. You’ll find us ready to help you go further, challenging you with our curiosity and agility while rewarding you with career-enhancing benefits derived from our connections and integrity.

As an intern, you will get to work on our Carbon Advisory desk and take on a project with real-world application. You will engage in sales related activities including business development, lead generation, and client advisory support, gaining practical experience in commercial strategy and client engagement. This role will involve a steep learning curve with on-the-job training.

Our ideal candidate is confident, reliable, adaptable, builds relationships easily and interacts well under pressure.

About SCB

SCB is a global low carbon commodity firm whose mission is to promote the adoption of a low carbon future. As market professionals, we promote the adoption of low carbon alternatives by reducing the frictional cost of low carbon practices. Working closely with corporate clients on their sustainability challenges, we assist them in calculating their emissions, setting objectives, finding market solutions, and implementing best practices to reduce or eliminate their emissions. Additionally, we help them report on their sustainability efforts and develop bespoke solutions to compensate for unavoidable and residual emissions, addressing climate change goals and meeting Net Zero commitments.

Why Work For SCB

The opportunities are as broad as your career goals.

You will become knowledgeable about various environmental solutions, a diversity of carbon projects and their benefits, corporate climate targets, reporting, GHG measurement, consulting and advisory strategies adopted to each individual customer. You will also learn to work in a professional environment and have ample opportunity to network with experienced consultants and sales professionals.

Our internships are designed to help you develop the skills and experience you need to give your career the best possible start.

In addition, we always strive to accommodate our employee’s needs. Yes, we never stop until we accomplish our mission, but along the way, we provide our employees with great benefits. To learn more about our benefits and our work at SCB, visit starcb.com/careers/working-at-scb.
