DNAir AG is pioneering a new frontier in biological intelligence. By capturing environmental DNA (eDNA) from the air, DNAir reveals hidden biodiversity patterns and tracks pest and pathogen dynamics. The data generated powers smarter decision-making in conservation, agriculture, and land-use planning. Based at the Switzerland Innovation Park in Zürich, DNAir merges cutting-edge science with engineering to solve one of today’s most urgent sustainability challenges. 

This Engineering for Impact internship places you at the heart of hardware innovation for biodiversity monitoring. Working directly with DNAir’s co-founders and external engineering partners, you'll enhance the design, efficiency, and performance of next-gen air filtration devices. You’ll test new systems, optimize both electrical and mechanical components, and directly influence how biodiversity data is captured from the air.
