DNAir AG is opening a new frontier in biological intelligence by capturing biodata from the air. Their technology reveals hidden dynamics of non-human life—from biodiversity patterns to pest and pathogen risks—transforming invisible biological signals into actionable insights for conservation, agriculture, and land-use. With a multidisciplinary team at the heart of Zürich’s innovation hub, DNAir is pushing the boundaries of how we monitor nature.
This is a science-driven, hands-on internship focused on optimizing air sensor technology to improve the detection of insect biodiversity through airborne environmental DNA (eDNA). You’ll collaborate with DNAir’s molecular team and co-founders to design experiments, refine molecular workflows, and extract meaningful biodiversity data from thin air—literally.
