Intern Liquid Defectivity

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician or Master’s student in physical sciences (Chemistry, Physics, Materials) to join our team for a 6-month fixed-term engagement, with the potential for a permanent position. The successful candidate will conduct preparatory studies to support the definition of our Liquid Defectivity roadmap, focusing on data-driven analysis, experimental design, and process optimization.

TASKS

• Design and conduct experiments to evaluate current systems and develop best-known methods (BKM) for liquid analysis


• Perform angle measurements and establish success criteria for reproducibility assessments.


• Quantify and improve current reproducibility metrics for defectivity analysis.


• Analyze data using MATLAB/Python and enhance data analysis methodologies.


• Present results clearly to stakeholders, supporting decision-making for process improvements.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS

• Education: Laboratory Technician or Master’s student in Chemistry, Physics, or Materials Science.


• Laboratory Experience: Hands-on experience with chemical handling, safety procedures, and experimental design.


• Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis and statistical methods. MATLAB or Python is a plus


• Soft Skills: Highly organized, strong communication skills, and ability to work independently.


• Language: Fluent in English
