Loss Prevention Analyst Intern

• Research, collect, analyze and administrate corporate and non-corporate Loss Prevention data;
• Support the equipment program in close collaboration with the GUESS INC Loss prevention department;
• Provide support to the loss prevention team and run internal data reviews in order to detect risks, frauds, thefts or any other criminal activities.

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Research and collect relevant socio-economical and criminological data or information; 
• Collaborate to maintain and enforce a constructive communication flow with other corporate departments;
• Collect stores and business units incident reports and follow-up in case of incomplete reports;
• Evaluate incident reports and integrate data in the loss prevention database;  
• Administrate loss prevention data and run ad hoc queries/reports in order to monitor improvements or deteriorations of the loss prevention environment;
• Formulate general reports in order to support Loss Prevention Regional Managers’ field intelligence;
• Review Loss Prevention audits and field reports;
• Support and coordinate the carrying out and the up-dating of new Loss Prevention tools, materials and documentations aiming to raise the awareness and the preventive skills of the GUESS EU group managers and associates;
• Manage the proper dispatching of Loss Prevention tools, materials and documentations throughout Europeans countries;

ACTIVITIES

• Integrate objective and subjective data in existing databases;
• Create and manage new databases;
• Perform researches to gather information or data;
• Contact and communicate by phone as well as e-mail with corporate and external, European or international, partners;
• Participate to meetings with corporate and external, European or international, partners;
• Present monthly results stressing clear trends regarding the Loss Prevention situation of GUESS EU group and its operational impact ;
• Deal with basic questions made by GUESS EU group managers or associates via phone or email;
• Adapt, improve or create and develop the lay-out for the formal presentation of Loss Prevention web application and all the needed training materials (handbook, guides, posters, folders and weekly newsletters) in order to promote their smooth understanding and make their application easier;
• Perform the mailing to maintain and always improve the department communication flow and the uploading of web application, handbook, guide, poster, folder and weekly newsletters.

• Bachelor degree
• Perfect written and spoken English & Italian
• In addition to the native language of the candidate, the knowledge of one of the following European languages French, Spanish, Polish or German is a serious advantage
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (excel, word, outlook, and PowerPoint); any experience in the web-design is an asset  
• No previous experience is requested but true interest in the Loss Prevention and private security world
