Operations Intern - Private Equity

Your team

Pictet Alternative Advisors is a specialist in alternative investments, recognized for its expertise in hedge funds, private equity, and global real estate. Based in Geneva and London, the team designs, manages, and advises on portfolios of alternative investment solutions for institutional and private clients.

As part of its ongoing development, Pictet Alternative Advisors is looking to strengthen its team by recruiting a Junior Operations Intern for a 6-month internship, starting as soon as possible, to support the growth of its private assets funds.

Based in Geneva, you will join a dynamic team of five people split between Geneva and Luxembourg, playing a key role in providing operational support for our private equity and real estate funds, as well as managed accounts.

Your role

• Validate orders in Avaloq


• Respond to operational requests (providing documents, administrative follow-up, etc.).


• Provide support to investment teams and internal clients.


• Assist in coordinating with service providers (administrators, back office, etc.).


• Help verify certain delegated activities (NAV calculations, reporting, etc.) under supervision.


• Participate in occasional or recurring projects as required by the team.

Your profile

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a financial environment, ideally in fund management or with an asset manager.


• Basic knowledge or initial exposure to alternative investments (private equity, real estate, hedge funds) is a plus.


• Knowledge of Avaloq is an advantage, but not required.


• Resourceful, rigorous, and organized, with good adaptability.


• Comfortable with Excel and standard IT tools.


• Good command of both French and English, spoken and written.


• Be available to join the team as soon as possible


• Resident in Switzerland or willing to relocate.
