Role Overview
As Strategy Intern, you will work directly with the Head of Strategy to support high-impact strategic initiatives across the firm. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced, high-performance environment, offering exposure to senior leadership and core decision-making processes. You will contribute to shaping strategic priorities, conducting deep analytical work, and translating complex problems into clear, actionable insights.
This role is suited for an exceptional candidate with strong analytical ability, intellectual curiosity, and the ambition to operate at the intersection of strategy, quantitative finance, and technology.
This is a full time role with a fixed term of 6-12 months.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Head of Strategy on firm-wide strategic projects, including market analysis, business planning, and internal initiatives
Conduct high-quality research on industry trends, competitors, technologies, and strategic opportunities
Build structured analyses, models, and presentations to support strategic decision-making
Assist in evaluating new business ideas, partnerships, and growth opportunities
Translate complex quantitative or technical topics into clear strategic narratives
Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal strategic frameworks and processes
Assist with ad-hoc strategic initiatives across the firm
Currently enrolled in a Master’s program or having completed a Master’s degree in a relevant field
Outstanding academic background in Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Business Administration/Strategy, or a related field from a top-tier university
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure ambiguous problems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
High intellectual curiosity and strong attention to detail
Ability to work autonomously while maintaining high standards of quality
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple workstreams in a dynamic environment
Comfort working with data, financial concepts, and technical subject matter
Professional maturity and sound judgment when interacting with senior stakeholders
Exceptional PowerPoint skills, with the ability to produce clear, structured, and high-quality executive presentations
Preferred / Desirable Experience
Prior internship or project experience in strategy, consulting, finance, trading, technology, or quantitative research
Experience with data analysis tools (e.g. Excel, Python, SQL, or similar)
Exposure to financial markets, trading, fintech, or quantitative disciplines
Location and Right to work: We are hiring for our Zurich office with the expectation of the candidate being on-site. Only candidates who live within commutable distance to Central Zurich and who possess the pre-existing right to work in Zurich without requiring company sponsorship need apply (Swiss national, B/C permit or equivalent).
