Accountant

Job Description:

We are looking for a driven and hardworking part-time Accountant to join our team at Praxair in Zurich. As an Associate Level Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, analyzing financial data, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Responsibilities: - Prepare and examine financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards - Analyze financial data and provide insights to improve financial performance - Prepare financial statements and reports for management review - Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes - Reconcile accounts and identify discrepancies - Support external audits and tax filings - Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth financial operations - Provide financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance - Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
