Accountant

Job description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and driven Accountant to join our team at Travelers Cos. in Bern, Kanton Bern, CH. As an entry-level accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with financial reporting, bookkeeping, and other accounting tasks. This is a part-time position with the opportunity for growth within the company.

Responsibilities: - Assist with day-to-day financial transactions and accounting activities - Prepare financial statements and reports - Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies - Assist with budgeting and forecasting - Assist with audits and tax preparation - Stay up-to-date on accounting regulations and best practices - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support overall business objectives - Other ad-hoc tasks as assigned

Requirements: - 1 year of experience in accounting or a related field - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance - Strong attention to detail and research skills - Resourceful and able to problem-solve independently - Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software - Excellent communication and teamwork skills
