Accountant - Work from home

Discovery Communications is seeking a motivated and adaptable Accountant to join our team in a part-time, work-from-home position based in Basel, Kanton Basel Landschaft, CH. As an entry-level position, we require at least 1 year of experience in accounting or a related field.

Responsibilities: - Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and statements - Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of transactions - Assist with budget preparation and forecasting - Analyze financial information to identify trends and potential areas for improvement - Support payroll processing and tax compliance - Assist with audit preparation and compliance with regulatory requirements - Collaborate with team members to ensure financial goals are met - Stay up-to-date on accounting principles and industry-related regulations

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines - Adaptability and willingness to learn new skills - Research skills to gather and analyze relevant information
