Remote Accounts Payable

Job Description:

Cigna is currently seeking a Remote Accounts Payable professional to join our team in Basel, Kanton Basel Landschaft, CH. This is a part-time entry-level position, perfect for individuals looking to gain valuable experience in the field of finance. The ideal candidate will be energetic, reliable, adaptable, and possess strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities: - Review and process vendor invoices for payment - Reconcile accounts payable transactions - Prepare and maintain accounting documents and records - Assist with month-end closing procedures - Communicate with vendors to resolve billing discrepancies - Maintain accurate and complete financial records - Assist with ad hoc projects and tasks as needed

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field - Strong attention to detail - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - No prior experience required
