Accounts Receivable - Work from home

Job Description:

Southwest Airlines is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team as an Accounts Receivable professional, to work from home. This is a part-time position with an entry-level seniority level, perfect for someone looking to gain experience in finance and accounting.

Responsibilities: 1. Process and post customer payments to accounts receivable system. 2. Monitor accounts to ensure timely collection of outstanding payments. 3. Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies. 4. Generate and send invoices to customers. 5. Assist with month-end close processes. 6. Collaborate with other departments to resolve payment issues. 7. Maintain accurate records and documentation.

Requirements: 1. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. 2. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. 3. Confident and energetic personality. 4. Ability to analyze data and solve problems. 5. Strong cooperation skills in working with team members. 6. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
