Accounts Receivable - Work from home

Job Description:

NRG Energy is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Accounts Receivable Associate to join our team on a part-time basis for remote work. As an Accounts Receivable Associate, you will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable functions for our company.

Responsibilities: - Process customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner - Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on outstanding balances - Reconcile customer accounts and investigate any discrepancies - Work closely with the billing and collections teams to ensure smooth operations - Communicate with customers regarding payment reminders and discrepancies - Assist with month-end financial close activities related to accounts receivable - Prepare reports on accounts receivable aging and collection efforts - Review credit balances and resolve any issues

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field - Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable or related field - Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices - Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams - Adaptability and problem-solving skills - Detail-oriented and organized - Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently - Passionate about finance and accounting - Dedication to delivering high-quality work consistently
