Chat Support Assistant - Remote Work

Job Description:

Praxair, a global leader in industrial gases and technologies, is seeking a part-time Chat Support Assistant to join our team on a remote basis. As an Associate Level position, we are looking for someone with at least 4 years of experience in a customer service or support role. This role requires a reliable and confident individual with excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities: - Provide exceptional customer support through chat and other digital communication channels - Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and escalate complex problems when necessary - Assist customers with product information, ordering, and troubleshooting - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely resolution of customer concerns - Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions - Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to team initiatives - Meet or exceed performance metrics and targets set by the company

Requirements: - At least 4 years of experience in a customer service or support role - Strong written communication skills and attention to detail - Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment - Proficiency with chat support software and other digital tools - High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree preferred - Dental insurance, retirement plan, and company-provided equipment
