Job Description:


Norfolk Southern is seeking a confident and energetic Call Center Assistant to work remotely from home in Bern, Kanton Bern, CH. This is a part-time entry-level position ideal for individuals with at least 1 year of experience in a customer service or call center role. The Call Center Assistant will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to clients through inbound and outbound calls.


Responsibilities: - Answering incoming calls and responding to customer inquiries - Making outbound calls to follow up on customer requests or resolve issues - Providing information about products or services to potential and existing customers - Assisting customers with placing orders, processing payments, and resolving complaints - Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and transactions - Collaborating with team members to ensure customer satisfaction and retention - Meeting or exceeding performance metrics, including call volume and quality standards - Adhering to company policies and procedures at all times


Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - 1+ year of experience in a customer service or call center role - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong time management and attention to detail - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software - Reliable high-speed internet connection and quiet workspace at home
