Job Description - Remote Contact Center Representative

Responsibilities: 1. Provide exceptional customer service to policyholders, agents, and potential customers through phone calls, emails, and live chat. 2. Handle a high volume of incoming calls and inquiries regarding insurance policies, claims, and general customer service issues. 3. Assist customers with policy changes, billing questions, and claims processing. 4. Educate customers on insurance products and coverage options to help them make informed decisions. 5. Utilize various systems and tools to accurately document customer interactions and maintain customer records. 6. Collaborate with team members and other departments to resolve complex customer issues and escalate when necessary. 7. Meet or exceed performance metrics and quality standards set by management. 8. Participate in ongoing training and professional development initiatives to stay up-to-date on company policies and procedures.


Requirements: 1. 2+ years of experience in a customer service or call center environment. 2. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. 3. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and empathy. 4. Proficiency in computer systems and the ability to navigate multiple applications simultaneously. 5. Motivated and energetic individual with a positive attitude. 6. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping. 7. Leadership skills to take initiative and work independently in a remote setting. 8. Ability to work part-time hours with potential for occasional overtime as needed.
