Remote Customer Service Specialist

Job Description:

Bühler Group, a global leader in process engineering and technology for the food industry, is seeking a talented Remote Customer Service Specialist to join our team in Bern, Switzerland. As a part-time Associate Level position, the Remote Customer Service Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining strong relationships with clients around the world.

Responsibilities: 1. Provide excellent customer service via phone, email, and chat to address inquiries, resolve issues, and provide technical support. 2. Manage customer accounts, including processing orders, tracking shipments, and updating customer information in the database. 3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate responses to customer needs and requests. 4. Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling products or services to meet customer needs and increase revenue. 5. Conduct customer satisfaction surveys and follow up on feedback to continuously improve service quality. 6. Stay up to date on industry trends, product updates, and customer preferences to provide informed recommendations and solutions. 7. Assist in the development and implementation of customer service policies and procedures to enhance overall customer experience.

Requirements: 1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service or a related field. 2. Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with customers from diverse backgrounds. 3. Proficiency in using customer service software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office. 4. Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and resolve customer issues in a fast-paced environment. 5. Adaptability and confidence to handle challenging situations and find creative solutions. 6. Strong negotiation skills to manage customer expectations and resolve conflicts effectively.
