Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Online Live Chat Specialist to join our team at Georg Fischer AG. As an Associate level position, the Online Live Chat Specialist will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support through our online chat platform. This part-time role is based in our office in Basel, Kanton Basel Landschaft, CH.
Responsibilities: - Engage with customers in real-time through our online chat platform to provide information, support, and assistance with product inquiries, technical issues, and order processing - Demonstrate excellent communication skills to ensure a positive customer experience and build rapport with clients - Utilize problem-solving skills to address customer concerns and escalate issues as needed to the appropriate department - Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to promote products and services and generate leads through online chat interactions - Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, feedback, and resolutions in our CRM system - Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, company policies, and industry trends to provide accurate information to customers - Work closely with team members to coordinate and prioritize customer inquiries and manage workload effectively
Requirements: - 2 years of experience in a customer service or sales role, preferably in an online chat or digital communication setting - Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on emotional intelligence and empathy - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German (additional languages are a plus) - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment - Resilient and motivated attitude with a strong focus on problem-solving - Proficiency in using CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and online chat platforms
