Online Web Chat Associate

Overview: Emerson Electric is seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented Online Web Chat Associate to join our team in Basel, Switzerland. This part-time position is perfect for individuals with at least 2 years of experience in customer service who are confident, resilient, and possess strong communication skills. As an Associate level employee, you will have the opportunity to work in a supportive environment that fosters personal and professional growth.

Responsibilities: - Engage with customers through our online web chat platform to provide timely and helpful assistance - Resolve customer inquiries, issues, and complaints in a professional and efficient manner - Work collaboratively with the customer service team to ensure a seamless customer experience across all channels - Utilize creativity to develop solutions and strategies for improving customer satisfaction and retention - Document all customer interactions and feedback for future reference and analysis - Meet and exceed performance targets and KPIs related to customer satisfaction, response times, and resolution rates - Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends to provide accurate and relevant information to customers

Requirements: - 2+ years of experience in customer service or a related field - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Confident and resilient personality with a positive attitude - Team player who thrives in a collaborative work environment - Proficiency in using online chat platforms and CRM systems - Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus) - Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
