Remote Web Chat Assistant

Job Description:

Xcel Energy is seeking a motivated and confident individual to join our team as a Remote Web Chat Assistant based in Lausanne, Vaud, CH. This is a part-time, entry-level position ideal for someone with at least 1 year of experience in customer service or a related field. As a Remote Web Chat Assistant, you will be responsible for providing timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries through our online chat platform.

Responsibilities: 1. Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and efficient manner. 2. Monitor chat queues and prioritize incoming messages based on urgency. 3. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless customer experience. 4. Utilize emotional intelligence to empathize with customers and provide personalized assistance. 5. Communicate effectively with customers to gather necessary information and offer solutions. 6. Update customer records and documentation as needed. 7. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities. 8. Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.

Requirements: 1. Motivated individual with a passion for customer service. 2. Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills. 3. Ability to demonstrate emotional intelligence and empathy towards customers. 4. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 5. Prior experience in customer service or a related field is preferred. 6. Comfortable working in a remote environment and using chat platforms. 7. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively. 8. Proficiency in multitasking and problem-solving. 9. Fluency in English and French is required.
