Web Chat Officer - Remote Work

Job Description: Leica Geosystems AG is seeking a motivated and experienced Web Chat Officer to join our remote team. As a Web Chat Officer, you will be responsible for providing customer support via web chat, resolving queries and issues, and ensuring a pleasant online customer experience. This is a part-time position at the Associate Level, requiring at least 3 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities: - Monitor web chat system and respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner - Provide accurate information and assistance to customers regarding products, services, and technical issues - Resolve customer complaints and escalate complex issues to the appropriate department - Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent and high-quality customer service - Utilize negotiation skills to meet customer needs while adhering to company policies - Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and follow up as needed - Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and company updates to better assist customers

Requirements: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer service or web chat support role - Independent and dedicated individual with strong communication skills - Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment - Strong teamwork and negotiation skills - Proficient in using web chat systems and customer service software - Fluency in English (additional languages is a plus) - Experience in the geospatial industry is a bonus
