Communications Specialist - Remote Work

Job Description:

NiSource is seeking a part-time Communications Specialist to join our team, working remotely. As an Associate Level position, the ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in communications and possess a dedication to their work as well as a resourceful mindset.

Responsibilities: - Develop and implement strategies to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders - Create engaging content for various communication channels, including social media, press releases, and internal newsletters - Support the development and execution of communication campaigns and initiatives - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistency in messaging and branding - Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of communication efforts and make recommendations for improvement - Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in communication

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field - 3+ years of experience in a communications role - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting - Adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines - Excellent time management skills
