Communications Specialist - Remote Work

Job Description:

Masco, a leading global manufacturer of home improvement and building products, is seeking a part-time Communications Specialist to join our team. This position will be remote, allowing for flexibility and the ability to work from anywhere. As an Entry Level role, the ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in a communications or related field.

Responsibilities: - Develop and implement communication strategies to promote Masco's products and services - Draft press releases, newsletters, and other written materials - Manage social media accounts and engage with followers - Coordinate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging - Monitor and report on media coverage and industry trends - Assist with event planning and production of marketing materials - Maintain relationships with media contacts and influencers

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Resilient and adaptable to changing priorities - Ability to negotiate and problem-solve effectively - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media platforms - Experience with graphic design and video editing software is a plus
