Job Description:
WEC Energy Group is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a PR Associate to work from home. This part-time position is perfect for someone looking to gain valuable experience in the field of public relations. As an entry-level position, no prior experience is required, making it an ideal opportunity for recent graduates or individuals looking to start a career in PR.
Responsibilities: - Assist with the development and execution of public relations campaigns - Draft press releases, media pitches, and other communication materials - Monitor media coverage and report on key metrics - Assist in coordinating events and press conferences - Build and maintain relationships with journalists, bloggers, and other key stakeholders - Conduct research on industry trends and competitor activity - Support the PR team in day-to-day tasks and special projects as needed
Requirements: - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal - Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines - Resilient and confident attitude in dealing with challenging situations - Emotional intelligence and leadership skills to navigate complex relationships - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant PR tools - Bachelor's degree in PR, Communications, Marketing, or related field (preferred but not required)
