Financial Controller (50%)

We're seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller (50%) to join our team and play a key role in shaping our growth. 

Your Responsibilities: 

• Oversee all company accounting practices, including accounting departments, preparing budgets, financial reports, tax and audit functions. 

• Develop internal control policies, guidelines, and procedures for activities such as budget administration, cash and credit management, and accounting. 

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes and reporting. 

• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts. 

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and financial standards. 

• Work closely with the CEO and drive strategic financial decisions. 

• Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities. 

• Monitor and manage cash flow, treasury activities, and working capital. 

• Analyze financial performance and provide insights and recommendations to support decision-making. 

• Identify opportunities for cost optimization and operational efficiencies. 

• Maintain and improve financial dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools. 

• Support the implementation of new financial systems, tools, or process improvements. 

• Ensure timely and accurate invoicing, accounts payable, and receivable management. 

• Assist with risk management and financial compliance in international operations. 

Your Profile: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 

• Minimum 8 years of experience in financial management or a similar role. 

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting. 

• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken. Dutch is a nice to have.

• Proficiency in accounting software (Odoo) and MS Excel. 

• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills. 

• You have experience in working with foreign jurisdictions.
