We're looking for a High School University Advising Assistant who is dedicated to creating a welcoming environment and providing exceptional support to all.
This is a part-time role (50%, initially a 1 year contract). Applicants must have the legal right to work in Switzerland (valid work permit or Swiss/EU citizenship required).
The University Advising Assistant provides essential organisational, data management, and communications support to the University & Careers Advising team, ensuring the smooth delivery of services to high school students and families across AP, IB (DP/MYP), and BTEC pathways. This role ensures that deadlines are met, records are accurate, and events are well-organised so that students can successfully navigate the transition from school to higher education.
The role also offers opportunities for professional growth and may serve as a pathway into future work in university advising or is a chance for existing advisors in different contexts to learn more about different aspects of international admissions.
Depending on experience the successful candidate may also have the opportunity to facilitate advisory sessions, attend professional learning events and also host colleges and university information sessions. ISZL has an ethos of holistic learning and interested applicants may also have the opportunity to work additionally supporting an after school club, activity or sport and/or attend a residential camp with students across the world for at least 5 days in term time.
